The Blues secure a key player's future for years to come.

It has been revealed to 90min that Chelsea declared to extend their contract with Ben Chilwell until 2027. 

The Blues’ renewal of the cooperation gained speed with the growing interest of rivals such as Manchester City in acquiring the Chelsea star. Chilwell signed a deal worth over £200,000 to commit to his current club for two more years in addition to the initial five.

The English left-back has established himself as one of the most promising talents in the Premier League upon his arrival. This season Chilwell has scored two goals and made three assists in 19 Premier League appearances. 

Stamford Bridge has been a home for the 26-year-old player since 2020.
