Bernardo Silva drops details on Portugal dressing room following Ronaldo's explosive interview

Bernando Silva has explained the situation in Portugal's dressing room after Cristian Ronaldo's explosive interview was dropped.

The Portugal captain opened up on breaking details with Piers Morgan about the problems he has at Manchester United and manager Erik ten Hags.

United's superstar talked about how betrayed and disrespected he feels at Old Trafford and insisted that the club had zero progress since he left in 2009 to join Real Madrid.

Therefore, the media was filled with several rumors that the atmosphere is tense A Seleção's dressing room after Ronaldo's spicy words, especially between the 37-year-old and fellow Manchester teammates.

However, speaking via Mirror, Silva has made it clear that Ronaldo's contentious interview had zero effect on the team as they are fully focused on World Cup right now.

“The news that comes from England has nothing to do with the national team, so I won’t say anything. It doesn't concern me, it concerns Cristiano,” said Bernardo. “I don’t have to comment.

“It’s a matter for Cristiano, I’m not a Manchester United player and even if I was I would not answer that, because we’re in the national team so I’m not going to talk about it.”

“It’s something that belongs to Cristiano. It’s a personal matter and I don’t see a big deal out of it. There’s no weird environment. It’s a shame we’ve only been talking about this when we have a World Cup to play. I don’t see a big issue.”
