You can argue forever about the topic of who is the best male tennis player. Defining someone as the best can be different for many.
Some take into account stats and the trophies that the player has won, some follow how the tennis player performs and even though sometimes he fails to succeed in winning a Grand Slam or two, they are still considered as the best because of their previous achievements and the style of their play.

#10 Ben Shelton
The American has so far achieved a career-high ATP ranking of No. 19 in September 2023. The 21-year-old has not won any career titles and his best results in the Grand Slams was at Australian Open quarter-finals 2023 and US Open semi-finals 2023.
#9 Holger Rune
The 20-year-old is one of the rising stars of the sport and is yet to win a Grand Slam. He has so far won four career titles including a Masters 1000 title at the 2022 Paris Masters. His best performance in the Grand Slams has been at Roland Garros as he has reached the quarte-finals two years in a row (2022, 2023) as well as the Wimbledon 2023 quarter-finals.
#8 Andrey Rublev
Rublev has won 14 career titles so far in his career having turned pro in 2014. The 25-year-old is yet to win a Grand Slam, however, his best result so far in the Grand Slams is reaching the quarter-finals. The Russian has reached Aus Open QF twice in 2021, 2023, Roland Garros also twice in 2020 and 2022. He has also reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon (2023) and US Open (four times) in 2017, 2020, 2022 and 2023.
#7 Casper Ruud
Ruud had a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2 in 2022. The 24-year-old has 10 career titles. He has managed to reach the finals of US Open in 2022 and Roland Garros in 2022 and 2023.

#6 Stefanos Tsitsipas
Stefanos Tsitsipas has overall 10 career titles. At Grand Slams, he has not had any luck having only reached the final of Aus Open 2023 and French Open 2021. Tsitsipas is currently ranked 7th in ATP Rankings. His preferred playing surface is grass, and Wimbledon is his preferred competition.

Rafael Nadal's 2023 was halted due to an injury, however, the player is set to return to court in 2024 at Australian Open 2024. Nadal is undoubtedly one of the greatest tennis players in history. He has 22 Grand Slam titles and it wouldn't surprise us that he could equal and even beat Djokovic to more Grand Slam titles.

Daniil Medvedev is considered as one of the best. Medvedev has won one Grand Slam title in his career and 20 career titles overall. The 27-year-old has often been villanized for his comments during the matches with the fans. He is currently ranked 3rd in the ATP Rankings.
#2 Jannik Sinner
Sinner has been ranked as high as world No. 4 by the ATP in October 2023. The 22-year-old won his first ever Grand Slam title when he beat Daniil Medvedev in the Aus Open 2024 final after a comeback. Sinner breat Medvedev following a five set game after losing first two sets.For his composed on-court demeanor and all-court movement, Sinner has been compared to Roger Federer.
The Italian also elminiated Djokovic in the semi finals of Aus Open, who before had never lost a single Aus Open semi-final clash with a record of 20-0.
