Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc has reacted to Erling Haaland's latest comments regarding his transfer.
The Norwegian star, who is reportedly linked with the move to Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid, earlier this week
revealed that the club have begun to put pressure on him to make a decision on his future.
He told Viasport:
“Well, the last six months I have chosen not to say anything out of respect for Dortmund, but now the club has started to press me into making a decision, but all I want to do, is play football.
“But they press me to make a decision now about my future. So that means I have to make a decision soon."
Following Haaland's comments, Michael Zorc, however, claims that there are still no talks and no deadlines.
“Haaland's comments surprised us a bit. There is no deadline and there have not even been any talks yet. But we want to hold talks at some point,” he told Kicker (Fabrizio Romano's Twitter Account).
According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the attacker's release clause will be available for almost €80m plus [commissions].
