Borussia Dortmund issue statement after Manchester United target Jadon Sancho spotted in UK

Borussia Dortmund have issued a statement after Manchester United target Jadon Sancho spotted in the UK. They said that they have no issue with Sancho travelling to the UK and expect him to return to training on Monday. Dortmund have set a deadline of August 10 for United to complete a deal for the England international. However, according to MEN Sport the club are prepared to walk away from the deal due to their unrealistic asking price. Furthermore, senior United sources believe Dortmund's deadline is 'meaningless' and 'artificial' as the transfer window remains open until October 5. Dortmund director of media and communication Sascha Fligge insists there is no problem with Sancho flying back to England and expects the forward to report for training as usual. "It's common and fine for players to go home before a training camp if they're not risky," he said. "The same goes for Jadon [Sancho]. From our point of view, the pictures that have been shown to us so far do not violate." Source: MEN
