Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller will miss both legs of Bayern Munich’s Champions League round of 16 clash against Liverpool due to suspension, it has been confirmed.

Miller was sent off in Bayern’s final group stage match for a high kick on Nicolas Tagliafico, the Ajax full-back.

His punishment was confirmed on January 1, with Bayern announcing they will appeal the decision in a statement released on Twitter.

However, the appeal has been rejected.
