Liverpool will not be expelled from Carabao Cup, as reported by Paul Joyce (via twitter).
Merseyside club has been accused for fielding an ineligible player for the third round of Carabao Cup match against MK Dons (0-2). Pedro Chirivella came off the bench in the second half of the match.
Insead of being expelled, Liverpool will be fined 200.000. 100.000 of this money will be paid until the end of the season.
"Liverpool to be fined £200,000 for fielding an ineligible player in Carabao Cup win over MK Dons. They will not be expelled from the competition. £100,000 of the fine will be suspended until the end of next season." Joyce wrote on twitter.
