Breaking: Franck Ribery signs new one-year deal until end of 2018/19 season

Franck Ribery has signed a new one-year deal with Bayern Munich. The 35-year-old was out-of-contract this summer and was expected to leave the club, however his new deal puts an end to months of speculation over his future. It is understood he was offered the new contract back in April, and he was considering whether to stay or leave. Ribery was thought to have been frustrated at the club, but now finally decided to stay. Bayern will confirm the extension today.
