Reece James is set to miss the upcoming World Cup 2022 due to fitness issues, as per Sky Sports News.
Chelsea star has been out of action after suffering a knee injury during the club's 2 - 0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League.
"Following the knee injury sustained in our away match against AC Milan, Reece has received treatment from the Chelsea medical department and visited a specialist this weekend," Chelsea club said in a statement.
Being sidelined for eight weeks, James will now fail to be fit for traveling to Qatar with Gareth Southgate's English national team.
