Brendan Rodgers has provided an update on James Maddison as he missed Leicester City's defeat to Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
Maddison is currently out with a knee injury. He was part of England's World Cup squad in Qatar, however, didn't get a playing time in the tournament due to his injury.
Speaking before the game, Rodgers Amazon Prime: "He’s still suffering with his knee.
"We’re just trying to get to the bottom of it with the medical team.
"He was out this morning and he just doesn’t feel quite right, so we’ll just have to assess that and see how we go."
Leicester suffered a defeat to Newcastle with a 3-0 score.
