West Ham United manager David Moyes has shared his thoughts on Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou following the two sides' latest Premier League showdown.
The Premier League encounter saw West Ham emerge victorious with a 2-1 win, courtesy of goals from Jarrod Bowen and James Ward-Prowse.
In his assessment, Moyes commended the quality of Spurs, acknowledging their strong performance in the London derby. The match saw the North Londoners take an early lead with Cristian Romero's header from Pedro Porro's corner in the 11th minute. Despite the setback, the Hammers rallied, with Bowen equalizing in the 52nd minute and Ward-Prowse securing the winning goal in the 74th minute.
Moreover, Moyes expressed praise for Postecoglou, the head coach, highlighting the quality displayed by Tottenham during the match.
“They are so good. I actually believe they are playing as well as anybody in the Premier League at this moment in time. The football is very good," he said during an interview on Amazon following the game, via TBR Football.
“The manager has done a brilliant job and we were up against it tonight. We had to dig in and be difficult to play against and thankfully we just about scraped it.”
