Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has revealed how they are prepared to stop Atletico Madrid's Luis Suarez when they face on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Standing in the Blues' way is the Uruguayan, who has starred for Atletico this season and scored 16 goals to fire them to the LaLiga summit since a summer switch from Barcelona.
Suarez has plenty of history with Chelsea and most notably for his bite on Azpilicueta's old team-mate Branislav Ivanovic in 2013.
Chelsea's captain said on Suarez:
"The best way to defend him is to keep him as far away from the goal as possible. That's a collective job and as defenders we know that.
"I faced him when he was at Liverpool and with Barcelona in the Champions League. He is a great striker, we know his numbers and wherever he plays he scores a lot of goals.
"We will try to defend against him collectively, control the game and to keep the attacking players as far from our goal as possible."
The Blues will face Diego Simeone's side tonight at the National Arena in Bucharest, Romania.
