Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen in talks over fresh deal after Kai Havertz transfer chase

Chelsea are in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a potential loan move for Malang Sarr. Leverkusen have accepted an initial £72million offer from the Blues for Kai Havertz, with another £18million to come in add-ons and performance-related bonuses. According to German publication Bild, the 21-year-old has already completed his medical at Stamford Bridge, meaning confirmation of the transfer is imminent. After reaching an agreement over Havertz, Chelsea and Leverkusen are now discussing a potential loan deal for Sarr. The highly-rated 21-year-old joined Chelsea after leaving French outfit Nice upon the expiry of his contract this summer, but Frank Lampard does not intend to use him in the 2020/21 campaign. According to Get French Football News, the German club have turned their attention to Sarr as Monaco have no intention of selling Badiashile.
