Chelsea are not in active negotiations for Andrey Santos with any club, despite significant European interest, including Barcelona, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Chelsea youngster's admirers include Benfica and Porto, while Barca boss Xavi and the club's sporting director Deco have reportedly discussed his possible signing. Before making a concrete decision on the young midfielder's future, the Blues' new manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to take a closer look at him during the pre-season.
According to Romano, all talks regarding Santos' possible move remain preliminary. He also adds that the Brazilian youngster is seen as part of "the club's future". The 19-year-old is currently at Cobham for pre-season training alongside the Blues' squad. His £18million move to the London club from Vasco da Gama was just a few months ago, in January.
