Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia has blocked Tiemoue Bakayoko’s move to Monaco, according to
RMC Sport.
The midfielder is out of favour under Frank Lampard and has been linked with a loan move back to Monaco.
However, Granovskaia fears, Monaco is not a big enough club to showcase his value.
She blocked the deal as Chelsea look to eventually recoup the majority of the money they paid for the 25-year-old.
Bakayoko played 63 Ligue 1 games for Monaco between 2014 and 2017 after his £7million move from Rennes, culminating in his switch to the Premier League.
