Chelsea have identified £39m replacement for Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud’s contract with the club is set to end after the current season, Chelsea are on the lookout for a replacement for the French striker. The Blues have submitted a £39m bid to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic as a replacement for the French. The 21-year-old has enjoyed a standout season so far with 19 goals in 27 games and has been a target for several top clubs including Barcelona  and Real Madrid. According to Bild Chelsea have made Jovic their priority target for the summer transfer window and are ready to table a £39m offer. Jovic’s representative, Fali Ramadani, is currently in talks with Frankfurt to discuss potential options once the season has finished.
