Chelsea are prepared to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi a mega bid to make him one of world football’s best-paid teenagers to keep him at the club.
Bayern Munich have made their intention to sign the 18-year-old this month and offered a deal worth £35million. It’s an incredible deal if we take into account that Hudson-Odoi hasn’t started a single Premier League game yet.
However, Chelsea offer him one last chance to stay at Stamford Bridge and earn minimum £50,000-per-week, rising to as much as £70,000-per-week if he meets certain targets.
Hudson-Odoi comes from a footballing family, his father Bismark played for Ghanian side Heart of Oak while brother Bradley was once on Fulham’s books. He currently earns £22,000-per-week but Chelsea are determined to keep their academy star and offer more than he currently earns.
