Chelsea and Tottenham are keeping tabs on Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles, according to reports. The centre-back has been linked with a poss of clubs, but the Toon refused to sell their club captain at any price. The Derby-born defender signed a new deal at St James’ Park last year until 2023. Blues boss Maurizio Sarri may need defensive reinforcements if he loses Gary Cahill. If Spurs were to push for Lascelles, it could allow them to cash-in on Toby Alderweireld.
