Despite Sanchez's impending return, his place in the starting lineup is not guaranteed. Djordje Petrovic has performed admirably in Sanchez's absence, impressing Pochettino and contributing to Chelsea's recent successes.
The team has won their last three Premier League matches with Petrovic in goal, and he delivered a standout performance in the recent 0-0 draw against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
Pochettino praised Petrovic's performance as "amazing" in a press conference following the match, highlighting the competition for the goalkeeper position. Sanchez will need to prove himself once again if he wishes to reclaim his spot in the starting lineup.
