Chelsea are reportedly set to extend Ben Chilwell's contract in order to ward off growing Manchester City interest.
According to The Athletic, the West London outfit are ready to offer the England international a new deal following his impressive results since making a move from Leicester City in 2020.
The 26-year-old currently has a contract that expires in the summer of 2025 and as per recent sources, the Manchester giants are heavily monitoring the defender.
Since his arrival from the East Midlands, Chilwell has scored nine goals in his 80 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.
