Chelsea stars who are out of contract in the summer

Premier League clubs will hold a conference call on Friday afternoon to discuss an exit strategy from its break and one of the suggestions is that the campaign is concluded by the end of June irrespective of how many fixtures remain. Should that completion date be enforced, it would potentially pave the way for an English transfer window to open on schedule. However, there is no clarity on what would happen with international moves. FIFA's latest guidance indicated that they would adjust the summer and winter windows as part of “exceptional measures” to ensure the game can return to some sort of normal structure post the coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, if they will end the league in July, players whose contracts end in June couldn't be forced to extend their deals with the clubs or move away. Chelsea are currently fourth in the Premier League table with 48 points and there are five players in their ranks, whose contract ends in June. Willy Caballero, 38, is one of the players, whose contract ends in June. The player is unlikely to extend his stay at the club, as the Blues are currently looking for a new goalkeeper. Caballero has made nine appearances this season so far for the Blues after Kepa Arrizabalaga fell out of favour of boss Frank Lampard.
