Chelsea are set to complete their summer transfer business by signing a goalkeeper. The Blues signed Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva. The Blues paid an initial club-record £72m fee for Havertz. The 21-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year contract. However, Frank Lampard wants to sign a goalkeeper after losing faith in Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Blues have been linked with Edouard Mendy of Rennes, Sergio Romero of Manchester United and Ajax's Andre Onana. But it is unlikely a keeper will be signed in time for Chelsea’s first game of the season, at Brighton next Monday, so Lampard faces a decision over whether to start Kepa or Willy Caballero.
