Chelsea could sell Antonio Rudiger to Paris Saint Germain. The Blues can get decent money for the centre-back, while PSG need to replace Thiago Silva. That's according to former Liverpool star, Steve Nicol. Nicol believes the deal will likely happen before the window closes. The Germany international is expected to leave the club after an influx of new arrivals. Speaking to ESPN FC, Nicol explained that Chelsea will be looking to sell players to balance the books after their extortionate spending spree. “This makes absolute sense,” Nicol said of the rumours linking Rudiger to PSG. “PSG lost Thiago Silva to Chelsea, they need someone at centre-back. Rudiger, he’s only 26 [sic], it seems like he’s been around for ages. "Chelsea can get some decent money for him. They’ve spent a lot of money recently, so I’m sure Mr Abramovich would like to see some money coming back in. This makes sense, they’ve got plenty of cover at centre-back, so it makes sense. I think we’ll see this happen, it makes sense for both parties.”
