Callum Hudson-Odoi has been out with Achilles injury since April. He ruptured his Achilles during a 2-2 draw against Burnley.
However, the Chelsea youngster has revealed that he hopes to be playing again in a few weeks.
"Recovery has gone really well and I feel good," Hudson-Odoi told
Sky Sports.
"Hopefully I can be back after the international break. We have to just get things going and hopefully everything goes to plan.
"I was scared it could take longer but really recovery has gone very well and I am really happy everything has gone to plan.
"Now I just can't wait to get back on the pitch and start playing again."
As a reminder, Chelsea's upcoming game in the Premier League will be against Wolves on Saturday, September 14.
