Sarri’s new signings helped him to establish a competitive squad. Here’s Chelsea players’ ratings under Maurizio Sarri. Kepa Arrizabalaga – 5 The world record has had a pretty easy start to life at Chelsea and hasn't been tested too much so far. Cesar Azpilicueta – 7 Azpilicueta is trying to adapt once again to become a right-back after his tint in Antonio Conte’s side. Marcos Alnso – 9 Has had an outstanding start to the season, especially going forward, and has really shone playing in the left-back role after playing wing-back last season. Antnonio Rudiger – 7 Looks to be settling in well under Sarri and with a high line he has the pace to recover well. David Luiz – 4 He seems to have struggled most. defensively he seems to be not quite at the races and his lack of pace meant that he has struggled at times Jorginho – 8 Has settled into Premier League life perfectly and has become the pass master of the side with more than 400 passes already to his name from the four matches to date. Mateo Kovacic – 7 Two starts and one substitute appearance for the Blues so far. He just needs to add a bit more attacking threat to what he have seen so far. N’Golo Kante At the moment he appears to be adapting to it well and he has the engine to be the complete boxt-to-box midfielder. Ross Barkley – 6 Had a decent pre-season and also a decent start to the season. Ruben Loftus –Cheek – 5 Not the start that Loftus-Cheek would have wanted in the Premier League as he has not made a start and has just come off the bench twice so far. Pedro – 9 He has had a fantastic start to the season. Willian – 6 Willian remains a pretty useful man to have around and is settling under Sarri well. Eden Hazard – 8 He is showing just how big it really was for Chelsea to keep him this summer and not let him head to Real Madrid. Victor Moses – 4 Victor Moses might not be seeing much game time at all in the Premier League this season. Alvaro Morata – 5 The Spaniard is still struggling somewhat and he needs a good international break and some confidence again to get firing for the rest of the season. Olovier Giroud – 6 The win over Bournemouth proved that he can play another key role in Sarri’s system.
