Pundit Chris Sutton has given his prediction for the upcoming match between Everton vs Wolverhampton in the Premier League.
Following the six-week winter break due to the World Cup 2022, the clubs are set to make a domestic league return next week.
Frank Lampard's side, currently standing 17th in the table with a point above the relegation zone, will host the bottom side Wolves on Boxing Day.
The clash is scheduled to take place at the Goodison Park Stadium, 3 pm BST.
Ahead of the meeting, the pundit predicted the result of the match, giving the advantage to the Toffees.
“This is a massive game for both teams, but it actually feels bigger for Everton.
“Wolves are in a relegation battle, but so are Everton and a win here is absolutely crucial for them with Manchester City up next, at Etihad Stadium on New Year’s Eve.
“Everton have to win, and I think they will win. I was at Goodison Park last season when their fans made a huge difference for them in games like this, and they will help them again here.”
