Chris Sutton has given his prediction for the upcoming clash between Manchester City and West Ham.
The Citizens are currently sitting in 2nd place in the Premier League table, two points behind the leaders Arsenal, holding one game in hand. The Hammers, meanwhile, are 15th on the table with 34 points.
The two teams are set to face each other in the domestic top tier on Wednesday evening. Ahead of the game, Sutton has shared his thoughts backing Pep Guardiola's side to be the winners of the match with a scoreline of 2 - 0.
"This is the Hammers’ game in hand on the teams below them, but it is hard to make a case for them getting anything at Etihad Stadium," the pundit wrote in the BBC column.
"The only question mark over City at the moment is how they will juggle their squad with the schedule they face in the next few weeks, and how much that affect their rhythm.
"I suspect Pep Guardiola’s plan will be to try to blow teams away early and take the likes of Erling Haaland off when the game is won. That’s what they will try to do here, for starters," he added.
