Former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri admits he would relish the chance to manage the Italian national team.
The 66-year-old specialist, who is currently in charge of Nantes, says he would ask to leave the French club if he was offered the chance to manage Italy.
“Any Italian coach would want to manage the national team, I have a contract for two years with Nantes. They have not contacted me, but if there was a proposal I would speak with my president to ask him to let me go,” Ranieri told TMW.
