Kevin Campbell has backed Arsenal to go for Philippe Coutinho this summer.
Former Liverpool attacker, who currently plays for Barcelona, has been heavily linked with the move to Emirates Stadium last summer, though the deal didn't materialise.
Now as the Gunners are eager to improve the squad for the upcoming season, Campbell thinks the club should sign Coutinho, who would be a "difference-maker" for Mikel Arteta's side.
“I would (look at Coutinho),” Campbell
told the Highbury Squad Podcast. “I know that he’s a difference-maker. I know that.
“He’s a difference-maker. He can score goals. He can pick a pass. Very good footballer and a very clever footballer.
“What was it, a couple of seasons ago, he was a Champions League winner playing with Bayern Munich. Then he goes back to Barcelona and he doesn’t get a kick.
“So, there is a lot of life left in him yet. But the problem is the wages.”
