Cristiano Ronaldo refuses to wear “best player” badge on Juventus kit out of respect for teammates

Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to wear his “best player” badge out of respect for his Juventus team-mates. Ronaldo, who won a league award last term, was named Best Player after leading Juventus to another Serie A title in his debut season. The player were given the option of wearing a special symbol on their kit this term as a reward. But the Portugal star has opted not to have the badge on his kit in order to remain on a level platform with his team-mates.
