Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent takes swipe at Lionel Messi after Ballon d’Or snub

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agents Jorge Mendes has insisted Ronaldo is the best footballer of all time despite missing out on the Ballon d’Or this year. When asked about Ronaldo failing to land the coveted prize, Mendes said: "Enough. Cristiano is the best in history. In England, in Spain and in Italy, everywhere, he is the best in history." Juventus star has won five Ballon d’Or trophies but finished second behind Modric in this year’s prize, which is voted for by 180 journalists.
