Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo confused the football world with his bizarre chin rub celebration after scoring the opener in Portugal’s 3-3 draw with Spain.

Portugal are back in action this Wednesday in their second group game of this summer's tournament against Morocco.

And rather interestingly, Ronaldo is sporting a small goatee of his own.

This may explain why he rubbed his chin; indicating a beard is on its way.
