Former Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League has broken silence on his possible transfer to Arsenal.
The Brazilian has said his next club will be signing a ‘true champion’ amid Speculation Arsenal are lining up a move for him.
The Gunners are open on signing the 36-year-old for free as they have limited budget of reportedly just £45m for summer signings.
Alves captained his country to success in the Copa America earlier this month for the 40
th trophy of a stellar career.
The Brazilian is expected to confirm his new club in the next fortnight but the Brazilian says wherever he goes they will be signing a proven winner.
"Now I’m free, but I still have a lot to accomplish in my career," said Alves. "The only thing that I can say is that the club that sign me will sign a true champion."
