Dani Olmo responds to rumours of Manchester United’s £35m transfer bid

Dinamo Zagreb star Dani Olmo has rejected all the rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United. The 21-year-old scored three goals during European Under-21 Championship earlier this month and was named man of the match for his display in the final as Spain beat Germany. Due to his  outstanding performances Olmo caught the attention of a host of top European clubs including Manchester United. However, the midfielder rejected rumours claiming United bid around £35m for his transfer. Asked about rumours linking him with United and Barca, Olmo told Croatian outlet T-Portal: ‘Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about it. It’s for my manager Andy Bara and my dad. ‘However, I’m not burdened by this.’ On what he would want from a move, Olmo replied: ‘Very simple – a club where I will play. ‘Because I am still young and for me it is most important that I have minutes.’
