Daria Kasatkina happy to be compared with Sharapova and Ivanovic

Daria Kasatkina, who is Russia’s number one, last week at the Kremlin Cup in Moscow, heard an interesting comparison with Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic. “Am I compared to Sharapova and Ivanovic?! Who?! I never heard about it. Naturally, I am happy”, she said. “I feel very well, I end every match earlier and earlier, it's a pleasure for me. I like everything, everything is going well. I feel more confident. It's difficult to say thank to what I won. We both played very well. In important moments I was a little bit more aggressive than my opponent and she was making more unforced errors.” About her relationship with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Kasatkina added: “I communicate well with her. With Dasha Gavrilova, with all the girls I have a good relationship. But when I face them on the court, I do not think about it. Do I have to improve? There is always something to improve and in many aspects. Yeah, my level is higher than the previous years but there is still room to grow.”
