Darren Bent claims Jose Mourinho still cannot trust Tottenham first-teamer

Darren Bent has claimed Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho still cannot trust the club first-teamer Serge Aurier.

The 27-year-old has made 28 appearances for his side this season. According to the former Spurs player, Aurier has shown good performances since the restart of the Premier League. However, Bent thinks it isn't enough to gain the club manager's trust. “I’m pretty sure Mourinho is there thinking: ‘What else can I do?’ He can only use the players at his disposal,” he told Football.Insider. “Listen, the last couple of games I think Aurier’s been okay – yes, you still can’t trust him 100 per cent but I think he’s been better than he has been. I think Mourinho at the end of the season, I do fear for them because I’m not sure how much business they can do that’s going to completely and drastically change Spurs’ fortunes.”
