Tyson Fury’s rescheduled trilogy showdown with Deontay Wilder could take place on 19 December, according to Top Rank executive Brad Jacobs. Wilder and Fury were set to face each other this month in Las Vegas before the coronavirus pandemic forced most of the world to go into lockdown.
Boxing has returned behind closed doors in America and will do the same in the UK this month, but it unclear when the world’s biggest fights will resume.
Jacobs revealed they had a date in mind and are hopeful a crowd will be in attendance.
"We are focusing on December 19 and are hoping that, by then, we are back to a nearly normal situation," he told Sky Sports. "That may be a 50 per cent capacity. We are looking all over the world, at this point, for the best location for this event. That will be narrowed down and we’ll see where it takes us."
