David de Gea leads the race for the Golden Glove

Manchester United’s David De Gea is leading the race to win his first Premier League Golden Glove. The Spaniard has kept 16 clean sheets this season, two more than Manchester City's Ederson and three more than Tottenham's Hugo Lloris and Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois. If De Gea is able to boost his chances with a shutout against City on Saturday he will reach to the top of the goalkeeper standings. De Gea already has the same number of clean sheets recorded by winners in three of the past four years and will be favourite to join Courtois, Petr Cech, Wojciech Szczesny, Joe Hart, Edwin van der Sar and Pepe Reina on the roll of honour.
