Dejan Lovren was absent from training at Melwood on Monday ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League clash with Bayern.
The Croatian international sustained a hamstring injury. The 29-year-old has been sidelined again by the recurring injury, which he posted cryptically about on social media a couple of weeks ago, and has now left fans confused once more.
On his Instagram story, Lovren posted an image of Rowan Atkinson's character Mr Bean with the caption: "Mr Bean taught me one thing in life. Enjoy your own company instead of expecting someone else to make you happy."
It remains to be seen whether the message is in reference to his ongoing injury problem but it has certainly concerned Liverpool fans.
