Dele Alli has sent a bold message to new Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo ahead of the team’s return for pre-season.
Spurs midfielder endured a hugely inconsistent campaign throughout last season, falling in and out of favour with former manager Jose Mourinho.
And Alli now has a new chance to impress heading into next season with former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo having been installed as the club’s new boss by replacing compatriot Mourinho.
He has sent a message to his new manager ahead of the club’s return for pre-season with the first fixture against Leyton Orient scheduled to take place in just over two weeks’ time.
Alli posted a picture of him on Instagram lifting weights at The Campus in Portugal, with a caption: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’m ready.”
