Just half month after suffering a 4-2 defeat in the North London Derby in the Premier League, Spurs had an impressive display in the Carabao Cup quarter-final by winning Arsenal 0-2.
While Tottenham star Dele Alli was enjoying and helping his team into the last four, an unexpected incident took place that angered Tottenham fans.
The Spurs midfielder chased a ball into touch down the left when he was struck by an object thrown from the crowd - a bottle.
He did well to not react, instead putting two fingers up on one hand and making a zero with the other, to signify the scoreline in favour of Spurs.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp described the incident as "disgusting" and Alii, who was named man of the match, was asked about it after the game.
He said: "I was hit, yeah, it is what it is, it made the goal a little bit sweeter and the win."
