"Deserves to be punished": Roy Keane singles out Liverpool player after Manchester City loss

Roy Keane believes Liverpool defender Joe Gomes "deserves to be punished" for his performance in the club's 4 - 0 loss to Manchester City. The Premier League 2019/20 champions were beaten by the rivals at Etihad Stadium yesterday night. During the clash, Gomes gifted City a penalty for Kevin De Bruyne’s opener, while former Reds star Raheem Sterling scored a double for the Sky Blues. And speaking about the defender, Keane told Sky Sports: “He deserves to be punished for being so clumsy. It’s been a tough first half for Gomez. Liverpool pressed really well in the first 20 minutes, Liverpool are trying and the pressure is there. But City have looked very dangerous on the break.”
