Diego Maradona has offered to manage Argentina for free after they were eliminated from World Cup
, the Sun informs.
The World Cup winner also travelled to Russia to watch his side’s game but he was left heartbroken as Jorge Sampaoli's side suffered a 4-3 defeat to France on Saturday.
When Maradona was asked if he would take on the job again if the Argentina FA asked him, he replied: “Yes, and I would do it for free.
“I wouldn’t ask for anything in return.”
They add that Jorge Sampaoli is expected to stand down as national coach this coming week.
