Diego Simeone makes admission on Matheus Cunha deal amid Wolves links

Diego Simeone has confirmed that Matheus Cunha is 'at a point of departure' following the Wolves links.

The Premier League side are on the verge of finalizing the Atletico Madrid forward's deal which will cost around €52m, including solidarity plus fee to the La Liga side.

As Fabrizio Romano reported days ago, the medicals are scheduled to take place next week, meanwhile, all the documents are set to be ready in the next few days.

Speaking to the media, the Argentine manager has claimed that the 23-year-old is a step closer to finding himself a new club.
