Dietmar Hamann delivers verdict on Liverpool’s top-four hopes

Former Liverpool player Dietmar Hamann is not backing Liverpool to finish in the top-four this season due to their recent form. The Reds have been recently struggling to impress, following their successful run last campaign. Jurgen Klopp's side are now sitting in 7th place in the league table and will be looking to end the season in the top-four. However, Hamann doesn't believe they will manage to qualify for the Champions League. “I think it will be very hard to finish in the top-four. They’re a few points behind and with a few teams in between," he said. “If they want to finish in the top-four, they probably need close enough to 20 points and I don’t think – they way they’re playing at the moment – they can do that.”
