"Eat my words": Tony Adams says £19m Arsenal player is proving him totally wrong

Tony Adams has revealed Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno may be making him eat his words. Adams suggested that Gunners had let go of the wrong keeper, selling Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa. However, Leno's latest performance against Leeds United has forced former Arsenal man to change his mind about the keeper. “I questioned recruitment. Willian, Pepe – did we need them,” he said. “I questioned the Martinez goalkeeper we let go, instead of Leno. But Leno, he pulled off a fantastic save, so he kind of is making me eat my words a little bit.”
