Eddie Hearn disagrees with Andy Ruiz Jr. over Anthony Joshua comments

Eddie Hearn has backed Anthony Joshua to win back his belts when he rematches Andy Ruiz Jr and disagrees with the Mexican’s recent comments about Brit. 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and former IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight-boxing champion Joshua was knocked out in the seventh round at Madison Square Garden Saturday night by massive betting odds underdog Ruiz Jr. The rematch will take place between November 16 and December 14. Ruiz is adamant he will emerge victorious again when they face off at the end of the year, saying ‘the only thing he can do [differently] is just run around you know, as he is not good at boxing, he is not a good boxer’. “I saw Ruiz the other night saying he’s got to run in the rematch – that’s what he can’t do,” Hearn told IFL TV. “He can’t run, he boxed off the back foot last time. But it’s going to take a really good performance, physically and mentally, to win this fight. I just believe in him. I believe in his mindset, I believe in his ability, and I just believe that he’s going to do it.”
