Eden Hazard is Europe’s most prolific creator this year ahead of Lionel Messi

Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard is the leading creative player in Europe on his current form. The Belgian has been even more prolific in this area of the pitch than Barcelona forward Lionel Messi. While the Argentinian may pip the Premier League star for chances created per 90, no other player can match the 27-year-old as a creator. The next most productive player in the final third after Hazard is Ousmane Dembele, followed by Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu. Hazard has also been in the fine form as a goalscorer by netting eight times in the Premier League and setting up nine assists in 16 appearances so far. Football analyst Carl Carpenter posted a graphic to Twitter showing Hazard's dominance over his domestic and European rivals.
