El Clasico dates confirmed for 2019/20 as La Liga fixtures announced

The La Liga fixtures have now been released, with Real Madrid travelling to the Nou Camp on Sunday, October 27 and the return fixture taking place at the Bernabeu on Sunday, March 1. La Liga operated a new draw system with 99% of fixtures being drawn using the software, with the remaining 1% selected manually - including the El Clasico fixtures to ensure they are not played too early or late in the season. Barcelona start their campaign away at Athletic Bilbao on August 18 whilst Real Madrid head to Celta Vigo. Athletico Madrid and Real Madrid play their first derby at the Wanda Metropolitano on September 29, with the Bernabeu repeat on February 2.
