Emiliano Martinez has sent a classy message to his former side Arsenal after Aston Villa celebrated a 3-0 win over the Gunners on Sunday.
Martinez kept a clean sheet against his former side as Ollie Watkins scored a double and Bukayo Saka scored an own goal.
"It’s a mix of emotions to be honest," Martinez said. "Two months ago I was lifting two trophies with them, I’d been at Arsenal for 10 years.
"When I play against them now I just want to win, I’m a winner, I’m Argentinian.
"I respect them, I respect the manager’s ambitions as well. I think they’re going to do really well in the next few years and I’m so happy to see them."
